An inspiring reading evening at the Old Press House with Ernst Heimes and musical accompaniment by the Schdäifleda. During this reading evening, Ernst Heimes, a writer from Löf on the Moselle, will share deeply and humorously about people during the many societal, social, and political upheavals over more than a hundred years, inspired by his own family history. He will read from his latest book "Amidst it all the river," which describes growing up in wartime, a childhood in the 1950s and 1960s, the search for origins and home, and the longing for freedom and independence.

Ernst Heimes’ reading will be accompanied by Moselle-Franconian songs from a small ensemble of the Schdäifleda. In addition, you can enjoy wines from the Gietzen Winery and culinary delights from the winemaker's kitchen.
