To share their enthusiasm for chamber music and making music together in an intimate setting, five musicians from the Federal Youth Orchestra founded this brass quintet in 2007. It quickly earned numerous prizes in international competitions and has since delighted audiences with concerts around the world as well as festival appearances from Schleswig-Holstein to the Rheingau.

With their thematically designed programs, the ensemble always manages to strike a balance between the highest musical standards and entertaining listening pleasure.

The core of their repertoire consists of original compositions, which are complemented by striking arrangements. In this way, the quintet – whose musicians play with top institutions such as the Konzerthaus Orchestra and the Deutsche Oper Berlin, the Bayreuth Festival Orchestra, and the Balthasar Neumann Ensemble – aims not only to compose music to their taste but also to significantly expand the brass repertoire. Brilliant!
