Full speed through the centuries

Now the time machine is being activated! Race with “Uwaga!” through space and epochs – only that no one is sitting in a DeLorean sports car here, but Vivaldi, Gesualdo, Haydn, Miles Davis, the Beatles, and Daft Punk clash until the sparks fly.

A wild time lapse between Renaissance and present, Baroque and beats, classical and club culture. It is electrifying, unpredictable, witty, and virtuosic. “Time Machine” is not a concert, but a musical adventure.

After over a decade of musical boundary crossings – from chamber quartets to crossover with large orchestras – “Uwaga!” now dares the impossible: A rapid journey through the entire history of music. Old masters meet modern grooves, Handel flirts with pop, even Monteverdi gets a funk update. The quartet plays with the centuries as if they were audio tracks: fast forward, backward, skip epochs – and mixes everything anew.

“Uwaga!” – these are a virtuoso classical violinist with a penchant for Eastern European music, a jazz violinist with punk rock experience, a masterfully improvising accordionist with Balkan sound in his blood, and a bassist who feels equally at home in symphony orchestras as in jazz combos or funk bands. Four musicians who could not be more different. For 17 years now, they have been tirelessly refining their shared vision: music without borders that brings joy, that connects directly to the heart and the legs.
