Mosel Trophy 2025

In one of the most beautiful side valleys of the Moselle, surrounded by steep vineyards, up to 85 pilots gather with their paragliders to choose the winner of the Moselle Trophy. Thanks to its geographical location, the holiday resort of Veldenz is virtually predestined for such a sensational competition. The Mosel Trophy is organised by the local association ‘Die Moselfalken e.V.’ with the support of our friends from the neighbouring association ‘DGF Rhein-Mosel-Lahn e.V.’.

If you are visiting the Moselle in the last week of April - or live here - why not take a look up? The sky is not just blue, but colourful. Around 100 pilots will be flying their paragliders on the Middle Moselle. The reason for this is the ‘Mosel Trophy’, a competition that is being held this year in the Bernkastel-Kues holiday region. The starting point - there are several options in the holiday region - will be decided on the individual days, but the skies from Neumagen-Dhron via Piesport, Veldenz, Bernkastel-Kues to Zeltingen-Rachtig will not be full of violins, but full of paragliders ...
