Astor Piazzolla, one of the most important composers of the last century, is the creator of the ‘Tango Nuevo’. His diverse music, surprising sounds and rhythmic richness make his compositions a source full of emotion and sensuality. Piazzolla succeeded in capturing the popular spirit of tango - a pillar of Argentinian culture - and combining it with influences from jazz and classical music through a new voice. And this voice belongs to Stephany Ortega. Accompanied by accordion and double bass, the soprano revives the tireless inventiveness of Astor Piazzolla. The trio presents a compilation of his most beautiful ‘Canciones’, combined with a touch of pop and electro.
