You will hear catchy tunes as well as works from Baroque to Swing, including “The Moldau” by Smetana. Silke Aichhorn cannot be pigeonholed. She is one of the most active European harp soloists, an author, an entrepreneur with her own CD label/publishing house, a mother, a hospice ambassador, a mentor at the German Cultural Council, a creative and energetic educator, with the goal of dusting off the image of the harp. The combination of musicality, incredibly colorful tone, virtuoso craftsmanship, and inimitable naturalness is what captivates the listeners. Her entertainingly moderated concerts are her trademark, along with the unwavering will to present new and still unknown pieces for the harp.
