Actor Stefan Wilkening tells stories of the highs and lows of togetherness in his hometown of Hatzenport – sometimes in prose, sometimes in rhyme – and is masterfully accompanied by the Trio Wellcaru. An evening that moves both heart and ear at the same time.
In love, engaged – and then? Happiness and bliss, until death does you part! Until death…? And in between…? Time of penance? Break? Ice age? And often enough: crazy times! One thing is certain: The time of dear togetherness belongs to the most exciting part of our lives. How strangely happiness embarks on its journey, and how touching-funny the less joyful days can be, is what the actor Stefan Wilkening, born in Hatzenport at the Terrassenmosel, tells with his wonderfully sonorous voice. He is joined by the gifted musician siblings Maria and Matthias Well and the virtuoso accordionist Vladislav Cojocaru.
About the artists: Actor and speaker Stefan Wilkening can be seen in various film and television productions and, alongside his theater engagements at the Münchner Kammerspiele, Schauspiel Frankfurt, and Bayerisches Staatsschauspiel, is also regularly experienced at opera houses and collaborates with renowned orchestras. He lends his distinctive voice as a speaker to numerous radio and audiobook productions. His special storytelling style is always a spirited "theatrical event" – true to his motto: "Everything is play."
The German-French sibling duo Maria and Matthias Well have been performing as "twoWell" on stage since early childhood. Music was practically instilled in the talented offspring of the famous Well family – "Bavaria's largest small arts family," with their father Michael Well being a cornerstone of "Biermösl Blosn." The younger generation has made a remarkable name for themselves in the music scene and performs in various ensembles at the most prestigious festivals. As Trio Wellcaru, they are joined by the accordion virtuoso Vladislav Cojocaru. With their own arrangements, they reinterpret classical works and give them a new, airy, and transparent tone.
