Nachtgedanken" a reading concert as part of the Trier-Saarburg district cultural days featuring songs by Edith Piaf, Gilbert Bécaud, Hildegard Knef, and Marlene Dietrich. For two decades, singer and actress Patricia Prawit portrayed Dietrich in a glamorous gala show. In her new reading concert, including melodies by Friedrich Holländer, Edith Piaf, Gilbert Bécaud, Hildegard Knef, and Burt Bacharach, she approaches the immortal myth of Marlene from a different angle. An entertaining mix of anecdotes, images, and music gives the audience insights into lesser-known facets of the exceptional artist. Look forward to the special ambiance in the new Meulenwaldhaus, where the glass windows offer a view of the mystically illuminated autumn forest. Patricia Prawit offers the audience wonderful insights in the form of lecture, reading, concert, and image presentation. About the artist Patricia Prawit, born in 1961, laid the crucial foundations for her career in show business with her high school diploma – alongside musical training, dance and acting were also part of her daily program. After numerous CD projects and live successes with bands, she started her over-regional career as a musical singer for "Starlight Express" (Bochum), "Hair" (Ulm), "Into The Woods" (Hamburg), and "Love und Confusion" (Bonn). A first highlight of her career was reached as the lead singer of the large evening revues ("Cinema," "Joker," "Jingle Bells") at the renowned Friedrichstadtpalast in Berlin. This was followed by numerous television appearances, singing and hosting at live galas with show orchestras, and a Las Vegas-produced show with worldwide performances. In 2000, Patricia Prawit achieved significant success with her glamorous Marlene Dietrich Gala at that time. This event is being held as part of the Trier-Saarburg district cultural days.
The event is being organized in cooperation with the Trier Forestry Office.
