Festive organ and trumpet concert for Trinity Sunday in the pilgrimage church of Klausen.
Armin Lamar was born in 1971 in Dillingen/Saar and received piano and organ lessons from Hans-Georg Nicola, Paul Schneider, Wolfgang Trost, and Karl Gottfried. He trained as a typesetter. From 1988 to 2003, he worked in a leading printing company in Saarland. From 1996 to 2004, he was the initiator and artistic director of the organ concert series of the "Kulturszene Saardom" in his hometown of Dillingen. From 2003 to 2010, he studied church music at the Hochschule für Musik Saarbrücken. He completed his A-examination there in the summer of 2010 with great success. From 2003 to 2013, Armin Lamar worked as a church musician and deanery cantor (since 2010) in the parish community "Saarlouis left of the Saar." From April 2013 to August 2022, he was the regional cantor based in St. Ludwig in Saarlouis and St. Crispinus and St. Crispinianus in Saarlouis-Lisdorf. There, he led the church music department in Saarlouis in the Diocese of Trier. In September 2022, he was appointed to the same position as regional cantor and head of the church music department in Saarbrücken, with his office at the Catholic parish church Christ the King.
Florian Lamar was born in 1999. At the age of nine, he took his first trumpet lessons from Uwe Radke. Since 2016, he has been studying with Joachim Schröder. Additionally, he receives lessons from Prof. Robert Hofmann. He is studying to become a teacher in music and history at the Hochschule für Musik Saar and the University of Saarland. He also completed a Bachelor's degree in the artistic-pedagogical profile with a major in trumpet at the music college. Starting in the summer semester of 2025, he will also enroll in the orchestral music program in the trumpet class of Prof. Robert Hofmann at the Hochschule für Musik Saar. Furthermore, he regularly performs in a duo with trumpet and organ with his father, Armin Lamar.
