Along the 10 km route, winegrowers and associations from the Moselle communities of Alf, Briedel, Pünderich, Reil and Zell (Moselle) treat wine and hiking enthusiasts to traditional Moselle dishes and delicious wines at their rustic refreshment stops.
Summer is approaching and so is the regionally popular Pentecost Wine Hike, which leads along one of the most beautiful circular hiking trails near Zell on the Moselle, along the narrowest bend in the Moselle.
A very special tour takes you through sunny vineyard slopes and shady forest paths. You will reach many beautiful destinations and experience up close the fascinating wine cultural landscape of the Moselle, as well as the impressive railway architecture featuring the longest slope viaduct in Germany or the Bullay Double-Decker Bridge. A unique nature experience on this circular route is the panoramic view from Marienburg and the Prinzenkopf viewing tower, as from here the Moselle can be seen from three different perspectives. A phenomenon that is unique along Europe's most beautiful river.
