Mussorgsky's "Pictures at an Exhibition" in VR

Mussorgsky's "Pictures at an Exhibition" in Virtual Reality

In PICTURES, Mussorgsky's "Pictures" come to life. The newly interpreted paintings begin to move before the eyes of the audience, surrounding them in space. This makes it possible to perceive the burden-carrying Bydlo or the legendary Russian witch Baba-Yaga not only musically but also visually. The composed interludes, the "Promenades," also find their visual counterpart as surreal corridors, colored by the mood of the last experienced painting, leading to the next painting and inviting reflection. This creates a musical-visual experience about the impact of art on the viewers.

This audiovisual experience includes around a 10-minute VR experience as well as an exhibition with background information on the individual paintings and the specially created original paintings by Franka Roussel.

Note:
Each experience lasts approximately 15 to 20 minutes.
When booking tickets, you choose a designated time slot during which the VR experience is reserved for you. Please ensure that you select the correct date, as your ticket is only valid for the booked time slot. If you wish to participate in a group, it is best to book consecutive time slots in the desired number of participants.

You can also simply come by and join a tour. Then you may have to expect waiting times.
