Portes Ouvertes Via mosel' at the Würtzberg winery

Via Mosel - Open House:
Experience the most beautiful wineries and wine towns of the borderless Moselle Valley over a weekend, known for the quality of their tourist infrastructure, as well as their remarkable historical or contemporary architecture.

Along the entire Moselle, the Via Mosel wineries selected by an expert jury will open their doors and gates for visitors on the first weekend of April. In addition to wine tastings, a diverse architectural program awaits you: exciting building tours, architect talks, builder stories...

The Würtzberg Winery is open on Saturday from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM and on Sunday from 1:00 PM to 4:30 PM.
During opening hours, wine tastings are possible at any time in the wine shop (3 wines for €5; no advance registration necessary).

Additionally:
Saturday, April 18, 2026: 3:00 PM Cellar tour including wine tasting for €10.00 per person.
Sunday, April 19, 2026: 2:30 PM Architecture tour including cellar tour with 3-wine tasting for €15.00 per person.
The tours will be conducted in German as well as in another language (French or English) and will be led by the wine & cultural ambassador Christiane Beyer. Pre-registration for the tours is desired.

The Winery:
Like a painting, the enchanted estate villa in Neo-Renaissance style towers over the vines. The coat of arms on the gable of the house adorned with wild vines gives a hint about its prominent builder: This work of art was created by the then Prussian Minister of State Clemens Freiherr von Schorlemer zu Lieser.
