A joint production of the Young Enthusiasts and the Enthusiasts
Progress cannot be stopped, let alone recaptured. While we are still trying to comprehend it, it has long moved on to a different point, is enigmatic and captivating, fascinates us or leaves us questioning.
In their new project, the Young Enthusiasts embark on a performative quest with the Enthusiasts to explore this phenomenon. They find connections in their own biographies, compare the past with the present, and recount their encounters with progress and the changes it brings.
They share moments of overwhelm, doubt, and anger, tell stories of longing and disappointment, the cacophony of everyday life, and the oddities of the digital world. On stage, movement, dance, and choral cascades of words collide, creating a play between standstill and speed, disruption and reboot.
The original production can be experienced at the “GALLERIA Lebensart” in Lützel. It offers an unusual yet thematically coherent space for performance. Prepare to be surprised.
