Art from here
Around 50 juried artists residing, born, or studied in Rhineland-Palatinate represent the artistic quality and creative diversity of the region in various forms and media; visually, multimedia, site-specific. The artistic creation moves to the center of our society with the exhibition.
Art in sight
The Rhineland-Palatinate Triennial occupies central locations in Trier, such as the Rheinisches Landesmuseum Trier, TUFA, and the Kunsthalle Trier. Established art institutions are complemented by additional play and open spaces in public areas, as well as selected archaeological sites where history and present meet. Participation formats, interdisciplinary approaches, and site-specific projects expand the exhibition experience and open access to art for a broad audience.
Art for all
The Triennial places a focus on cultural education, participation, and inclusion. Workshops, participatory offerings, and activities in the urban space invite all demographic groups to actively engage with art and promote societal dialogue and cultural participation. For this purpose, local initiatives and associations with their own events are involved, among others.
