Saar wine festival

For three days, Saarwinzer and local restaurateurs transform Saarburg's old town into a sociable wine street.

The Saar Wine Festival presents wine, plenty of live music, the crowning of the Saar-Obermosel wine queens, a musical fireworks display over the Saar, and the traditional parade on Sunday. 

Saturday
2:00 p.m. Joyful gathering in the wine street with delicious Saar Riesling
7:30 p.m. Entry of the wine queens and honored guests into the wine street
8:15 p.m. Solemn inauguration of the Saar-Obermosel wine queen accompanied by the Saarburg music club
Following that, fireworks over the Saar.
Afterwards, party atmosphere with DJs at the old town bridge.

Sunday
1:30 p.m. Musical entertainment in front of the town hall with the Serrig music club and with the Ockfen music club in front of the savings bank
2:00 p.m. Start of the colorful festival parade from Heckingstraße through the city center to the roundabout in Hagen.

Opening of the wine street in Staden.

From 4:00 p.m. Meeting point in the wine street, joyful gathering with delicious Saar Riesling. Children's program at the Kulturgießerei Saarburg, games and activities as well as crafting and creative offerings. Free admission to the Mabilon Bell Foundry Museum. Homemade cake for the whole family.
