Saarburg Christmas Market

Between the festively illuminated Buttermarkt and the waterfall, visitors can immerse themselves annually in a wonderful, colorfully illuminated and very special Christmas atmosphere in the Saarburg old town on the 2nd and 3rd Advent weekends.
Surrounding the glowing Christmas tree above the Leukbach are the Christmas market stalls. The Christkindlmarkt traditionally features a festive music and children's program, market stalls with regional mulled wine, plenty of culinary delights, as well as local products and handicrafts. New and also familiar stallholders offer a wide variety of goods from wooden crafts to ceramics.
Saint Nicholas, club activities, brass ensembles, music clubs, and lots of live music provide entertainment.

Friday

Transfer rides between the Christkindlmarkt (Pferdemarkt) and the Victorian Christmas market at the Kulturgießerei are offered for 3 Euros (2 PM - 6 PM).

3:00 PM Brass ensemble from the music club Beurig
6:00 PM Live music by Simply Two

Sunday
Transfer rides between the Christkindlmarkt (Pferdemarkt) and the Victorian Christmas market at the Kulturgießerei are offered for 3 Euros (2 PM - 6 PM).
1:00 PM Opening of the stalls
2:00 PM - 6:00 PM Children's creative program
3:30 PM Saint Nicholas arrives with the music club Saarburg. The music club Saarburg will then entertain with a concert

Opening hours:
December 5 - December 7, 2025, and December 12 - December 14, 2025, each Friday from 3:00 PM - 9:00 PM.
On Saturday and Sunday from 1:00 PM - 9:00 PM.
