Open Nutcracker Sunday in Saarburg town centre: Colourful market hustle and bustle from 11:00 am. From 12:00 - 17:00, Saarburg's shops open their doors for an exclusive shopping experience including the "Crack the nut" competition. Live music will provide entertainment from 14:00 and the Saarburg Lions Club will once again be organising the traditional raffle for a good cause. The St Martin's procession begins after the service at 6.00 pm in the parish church of St Laurentius. The impressive St Martin's bonfire in the city car park in Anbindungsohr traditionally marks the end of the procession.
