Almost five years after their acclaimed debut album "Alewa," the eight-member highlife powerhouse Santrofi from Accra is back with their new album "Making Moves!"

The band was founded in 2019 by a group of young musicians who share a passion for highlife. Under the leadership of producer and bassist Emmanuel Kwadwo Ofori, Santrofi brings together some of the best musicians from Ghana, blending traditional highlife grooves with modern influences from funk and hip-hop. The band members have previously worked with legends like Ebo Taylor, Pat Thomas, Ambolley, and AB Crentsil, as well as current stars like KiDi, Yaw Tog, AratheJay, and Black Sherif.

With their unique sound, Santrofi proves that traditional highlife rhythms and modern grooves complement each other perfectly. Thus, they are leading highlife from Ghana into the future - without losing its soul.
