SAUERWEINS wine hike

The participants explore the southern Wine Mosel with cultural and wine ambassador Alfred Strupp and learn interesting facts about the region and the wines, tasting them directly where they were grown. The route partially runs along the Moselsteig. It begins with a sparkling wine reception at the vineyard. During the hike and at the destination, four different wines will be tasted, accompanied by a hearty winemaker’s snack featuring regional specialties. Meeting point: SAUERWEINS Vineyard, Römerstr. 2, 54439 Palzem. Start: 12:30 PM, End: 5:00 PM. Note: Please bring sturdy footwear and appropriate clothing. Number of participants: max. 16 people. Schedule

We start at 12:30 PM at the winery in Palzem with a sparkling wine reception and begin our hike at 1 PM. Alfred Strupp will accompany you along an exciting and varied route, partly along the Moselsteig, and will share interesting information about the vineyards and the region.

During the hike, we will taste four different wines and enjoy a hearty winemaker's platter with regional specialties.

We will return to the winery around 5 PM.
