Silent film concert ‘Algol’

Silent film classics live on piano with Stephan Graf v. Bothmer.

A concert, perfectly synchronized to the film.

Stephan Graf v. Bothmer presents ALGOL (1920) with new live film music on stage: a visionary science fiction silent film about energy, progress, and climate change. With spectacular sets and Emil Jannings in the lead role, the film is musically revitalized – thrilling, moving, and relevant.

A concert experience between expressionism and rock. Bothmer's silent film concerts are shows with musical interludes, short films, and infotainment – an event concept that has already thrilled over 300,000 guests.
Stephan v. Bothmer performs with his CineTronium, a keyboard setup of immense expressiveness and flexibility, which he specially developed for his live film music. The modern sounds of the CineTronium combine with the deep emotion and drama of his music to create an intoxicating experience that brings the films into today's era.

Before the concert, free tickets for two people for the upcoming events, with a total value of over €1,500.00, will be raffled.

Tickets are available in advance for €35.00 at www.kulturgiesserei-saarburg.de and at the box office for €38.00.
