On Thursday, December 31, 2026, the area around the ice rink in Traben-Trarbach will transform into a festive open-air New Year’s Eve party. Under the motto “New Year's Eve on Ice”, the celebration into the new year will start at 8.00 p.m. – with exciting music, hot cocktails, winter lighting, and plenty of good vibes.
The right sound will be provided by DJ Roger, who has passionately been behind the turntables for more than 30 years. For him, music is much more than just good entertainment: it creates emotions, connects people, and makes special moments unforgettable. With his intuition for the audience and the right sound at the right time, he ensures that the dance floor will not stay empty for long.
The audience can look forward to a varied mix: familiar favorite songs, infectious beats, and plenty of music to sing along and dance to. Because for DJ Roger, what comes out of the speakers is not the only thing that counts – but what happens on the dance floor.
Even though the ice rink will remain closed that evening, the winter flair certainly doesn’t have to be missed. The festively decorated area around the rink offers the perfect backdrop for a special New Year's Eve outdoors.
Food and drink are also taken care of: The mulled wine stand at the ice rink is open and provides guests with warming drinks. Depending on the offer, additional food stalls around the ice rink invite you to indulge.
