For the 14th time, we are celebrating a summer full of music in Bernkastel-Kues. As always, you can enjoy great open-air events with free admission. Every Thursday from 6 to 10 pm, we offer you 2 bands, cheerful after-work entertainment and the most beautiful places in our town.

Thursday, 26.06. 6 pm: Sunshine Dream
Sunshine Daydream will take you on a journey back in time to the good old days of the Love & Peace generation. Folk rock from the 60s/70s and songs by America, Tom Petty, Crosby StilNash, Neil Young, Bob Dylan, CCR, Eagles, Jefferson Airplane, Byrds and Grateful Dead will revive the spirit of the hippie era. Experience the spirit of Woodstock, the scent of freedom and the sound of a movement that shaped an entire generation. Sunshine Daydream's repertoire includes classics and gems from icons of the time such as America, Tom Petty, Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, Bob Dylan, Creedence Clearwater Revival (CCR), The Eagles, Jefferson Airplane, The Byrds and of course Grateful Dead, whose song ‘Sunshine Daydream’ not only gave the band its name, but also symbolises its musical mission. 8 pm: Gerd Blume and his ‘Ensemble d'amour
Endorphin for everyone!!! A pompous evening of hits and dancing with the music group ‘The Gerd Blume Show’ When Gerd Blume invites you to one of his impressive hit evenings, no dancing leg is left unturned and no armpit remains dry. The likeable entertainer and his ‘Ensemble d'Amour’, specially put together for the occasion, ensure exuberance and good humour from the very first bars. It is good old German songs from the 60s, 70s and 80s to which ‘The Gerd Blume Show’ has sworn allegiance - much to the delight of the audience revelling in freedom and love at the edge of the stage. Gerd Blume has made it his mission to whisk his guests away to the world of tearjerkers and tearjerkers, and he is always assisted by evergreens and popular songs by well-known crooners such as Howard Carpendale, Udo Jürgens, Peter Maffay, Michael Holm, Matthias Reim and Münchner Freiheit. The one or other party bomb from the NDW era by colourful dogs such as Heinz-Rudolf Kunze, Nena or Hubert Kah is of course also part of the explosive repertoire. Whether an early starter or a late bloomer, every song in the ‘Gerd Blume Show’ is celebrated by the audience, from the accurate Oppa to the cheeky granddaughter ... because the world has never seen anything like it!
