St. Nicholas ride through the streets of Kobern-Gondorf-Dreckenach

St. Nicholas Parade

This year, St. Nicholas will roll through the districts of Dreckenach, Gondorf, and Kobern in his decorated "sled" and spread a little light magic for young and old on December 5, 2026.

The St. Nicholas Parade has established itself as a pre-Christmas event in recent years. The response has been overwhelmingly positive from all districts for years.

REWE: XL Hundertmark Kobern-Gondorf is once again donating the St. Nicholas figures this year, so that a St. Nicholas can be distributed to children up to 14 years old.

St. Nicholas looks forward to many citizens bringing their numerous children to the route on December 5, 2026.

Here is the route:

1st section Dreckenach: approx. 4:00 PM Start: L122 - Bachstraße - Auf der Boursch - Birkenweg - Im Taubenstück - Dorfstraße - Hauptstraße

2nd section Gondorf: approx. 4:45 PM Start: Maifeldstraße - Römerstraße - Von-der-Leyen-Platz (15-20 minutes stop, short mulled wine reception with the Gondorf support association for St. Nicholas) - Römerstraße - Im Vogelsang

3rd section Kobern: approx. 5:30 PM Start: Auf'm Hübeling - Am Seifen - Im Geispfad - Obermarkstraße - Im Rothstück - Untermarkstraße - Im Mühlengraben - Burgstraße - Lennigstraße - Im Spreen - Marktstraße - Marketplace

Conclusion at the marketplace: Arrival approx. 7:15-7:30 PM with musical accompaniment by the Kobern Music Society and a mulled wine reception by the Kobern-Gondorf Wine Friends.

The support association of the Kobern fire department is very much looking forward to young and old!
