St Nicholas' bell will ring again! This year, St. Nicholas will once again be travelling through the districts of Kobern, Gondorf and Dreckenach in his decorated ‘sleigh’ and spreading a little light magic for young and old on 5 December 2024. St Nicholas will once again have a chocolate Father Christmas with him for children up to the age of 14 and will be delighted if many citizens from the districts of Kobern, Gondorf and Dreckenach come along the route on 5 December 2022. The following route is planned:
1st section Dreckenach: approx. 16.00 hrs Start: L122 - Bachstraße - Auf der Boursch - Birkenweg - Im Taubenstück - Dorfstraße - Hauptstraße
2nd section Gondorf: approx. 16.45 Start: Maifeldstraße - Römerstraße - Von-der-Leyen-Platz - Römerstraße - Im Vogelsang
3rd section Kobern: approx. 5.30 pm Start: Auf'm Hübeling - Am Seifen - Im Geispfad - Obermarkstraße - Im Rothstück - Untermarkstraße - Mühlengraben - Im Mühlengraben - Burgstraße - Lennigstraße - Im Spreen - Marktstraße - Marktplatz between 7.15 pm and 7.30 pm with musical accompaniment by the Musikverein and mulled wine reception by the Weinfreunde Kobern-Gondorf.
