Traditional fair organised by the local music club in the heated marquee in the centre of Maring. Festive programme organised by local clubs, primary school and kindergarten as well as friendly guest clubs

The Musikverein ‘Harmonie’ Maring-Noviand 1911 e.V. is once again organising the fair in Maring in 2025, and the St. Remigius fair has been hosted by the Musikverein Harmonie Maring-Noviand for several years. The first weekend in October is therefore all about brass band music: the varied programme is organised by local clubs, primary schools and kindergartens as well as guest clubs from near and far. The event begins on Saturday at around 6.30pm with the opening ceremony in the presence of the wine sovereigns. Sunday begins with a festive high mass in the morning in St Remigius Church, which is accompanied by brass players from the music association. This is followed by a traditional Moselle fairground meal in the heated marquee. Highlight for all children: the performance of a magician on Sunday afternoon.
