St. Rochus wine fair & wine happening in Nittel

The largest wine festival on the Upper Moselle offers a varied program. From Friday to Monday, showmen, live music, market stalls, gastronomy, and winemakers create a unique atmosphere. Highlights include the proclamation of the 20th Saar-Obermosel wine royalty on Saturday evening, as well as the 18th German-Luxembourg wine happening featuring free boat passage between Nittel (DE) and Machtum (LUX) on Sunday.

Friday
6:00 PM Opening of the stalls.
8:00 PM Musical fair start with the band "Frantic".

Saturday
3:00 PM Opening of the stalls.
5:30 PM Festive service with wine blessing in St. Martin's parish church.
7:30 PM Opening of the wine fair with participation of the Nittel music association and proclamation of the 20th Saar-Obermosel wine royalty, including tapping of the barrel with blessed wine.
8:30 PM Live music with the band "Party On".

Sunday
11:00 AM Sparkling wine and more, regional market stalls until 6:00 PM, and free boat shuttle service between Nittel and Machtum until 10:00 PM.
12:00 PM Lunch on the festival grounds and musical entertainment with the music association 1927 Bombogen.
3:00 PM Musical entertainment with "California Dreams".
7:00 PM Dance and entertainment with the band "Emotions".

Monday
3:00 PM Colorful fair activities on the fairground and children's entertainment.
8:00 PM Fair conclusion with the band "First Men on Mars".
