Shopping Sunday on October 4th: Autumn shopping experience in Traben-Trarbach

When the Moselle region is draped in autumn colors, the Trades Association Traben-Trarbach invites everyone to stroll through Traben-Trarbach on Sunday, October 4th.  

From 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.  the participating shops will open their doors and look forward to welcoming visitors from the region and holiday guests to a relaxed shopping and experience day by the Moselle.

The shopping Sunday offers the opportunity to leisurely stroll through Traben-Trarbach, take a look around, and discover something special. It's not just about shopping: personal contact and individual advice are just as much in focus as the joy of shared experiences.

A special meeting point on this day is the marketplace with its historical fountain, around which the Marketplace Festival takes place. The fountain itself tells a piece of Traben history: it was designed and created in 1908 by the sculptor Bernhard Wendhut. At the center of the design is a winemaker girl in traditional Moselle attire.

Around the “Moselle Flower,” the festival invites everyone to linger, enjoy, and socialize. Shopping and festival visits can be wonderfully combined.

Especially in autumn, a trip to Traben has its special charm. The Moselle, the historic houses, and the cozy streets provide the perfect backdrop for a relaxing Sunday. Whether strolling through the town, visiting the open shops, or enjoying time together at the marketplace – October 4th offers various options for a lovely day in Traben-Trarbach.
