FASCINATION DAY OF OPEN MONUMENTS®:Networks: Monuments & Infrastructure

The century construction project "New Construction of Pfaffendorfer Bridge" is one of the largest construction projects in Germany and offers an exciting insight into the current infrastructural development of Koblenz. As part of the tour, participants will receive comprehensive information about the construction site and the new bridge.
A special highlight is the exclusive access to the construction site, which allows the current state of construction to be experienced up close and personal.

Mandatory equipment & participation conditions

  • Wearing a safety vest and hard hat is mandatory
  • Sturdy, closed-toe footwear required (hiking sandals are not sufficient and may not be brought!)
  • Safety in footing and freedom from dizziness are mandatory prerequisites
  • Children: Participation only from age 12 and only when accompanied by an adult
  • No toddlers, no strollers
  • No wheelchairs or rollators

Meeting point: Construction fence behind the wine village in the Kaiserin-Augusta Anlagen, riverside
Participation is only possible with a registration / ticket.
