T´arabBach Quartett - From Baghdad to Bach

Saif Al-Khayyat (oud, Arabic lute) studied ancient Arabic music in Baghdad. He has been living in Germany for 20 years. Theo Van Der Poel (accordion) and Angela Simons (cello) come from the classical European field. As a percussionist, Ahmad Abu Siam enriches this varied program.
 
The four musicians from the region bridge the gap between different cultures and present a mixture of styles in a new guise through their diverse sounds.
