The Celt of Ferl - guided tour in costume

With guest companion Hans-Jürgen Knopp, you will discover not only the breathtaking view into the Saar valley but also the eventful history of this place. An impressive testament to Romanesque architecture awaits you. Meeting point: Entrance to the Klause. The tour is free as part of the "Day of Open Monuments".

With guest companion Hans-Jürgen Knopp, you will discover not only the breathtaking view of the Saartal but also the tumultuous history of this place – from the Celtic-Roman refuge and hermit's dwelling to the sepulchral church of the blind King John of Bohemia, which was remodeled by the Prussian King Frederick William IV with his architect Karl Friedrich von Schinkel. You can expect an impressive testament to Romanesque architecture.
