The Wine Village Festival was organized by the winemaker families of our town, the new Thörnich Wine Festival by the Thörnich community in the form of the association “We Thörnich” e.V. Since it is about the Thörnich “Kirmes”, meaning the name day of our patron saint, the Thörnich Wine Festival also takes place on the weekend of the second Sunday in September.
The Thörnich Wine Festival replaced the Thörnich Wine Court Festival, which was held for over 35 years and was well known beyond the borders of the region, in the year 2022.
The Wine Court Festival was organized by winegrowing families from our village, while the new Thörnich Wine Festival is hosted by the Thörnich community in the form of the association “Wir Thörnicher” e.V.
Since it is the Thörnich "Kirmes," or the feast day of our church patron, the Thörnich Wine Festival also takes place on the weekend of the second Sunday of September.
As with the Wine Court Festival, our Thörnich wines are the focus of our celebration. They will be complemented by a diverse music program that offers something for every taste.
“Wir Thörnicher” are pleased to welcome you to our festival and promise you an unforgettable experience at the foot of the Thörnich Ritsch.
