May celebration at Paulskirche with a high mass, children's program, May devotion & catering – on May 1st in Lieser.
Dear readers, dear friends of our Paulskirche,
this year, the support association of the Paulskirche will once again organize the May Festival at the Paulskirche on May 1st.
In the morning, we will celebrate the first festive High Mass of May. After the High Mass, our May Festival will begin in the square behind the church. In the afternoon, a May devotion will also take place. From 2 PM onwards, a children's program will be organized in front of the church. The Paulsbrother is also expected to be on-site and offer a tour of the Paulskirche. We will also take care of physical well-being.
All donations and the proceeds from the May Festival will directly benefit our Paulskirche. Only in this way can we preserve our figurehead, which is part of our identity. Through personal conversations, we know how important the Paulskirche is for us and the region.
Many weddings have been celebrated there, the masses by candlelight, whether it's the Nikolaus mass or the mass on the first day of Christmas, are legendary and known beyond the borders of our home village. Newly added is the blessing of tractors. Furthermore, the Paulskirche is a popular hiking destination where one can pause for reflection. Many clubs from Lieser identify with the Paulsbrother.
Let us preserve and maintain this. Together we can ensure that we continue to spend many beautiful hours in and around the Paulskirche.
