During a ride in an electric carriage, you can immerse yourself in the exciting history of the city of Saarburg with mobile virtual reality glasses. During the approximately 50-minute round trip, participants gain historical insights into the former daily life of the city at seven stations and experience significant historical events. Be there as the castle is built, the Leuk River is diverted, the first mill is operated at the waterfall, or the butter market is illuminated by electricity for the first time. Additional stops on the tour include the attack by Franz von Sickingen on the castle, a daily scene from the craft-influenced lower town in Staden, a bell casting at the Mabilon bell foundry, and a market scene at the fruit market.
