Visit of the lock and barrage Lehmen

The Mosel-Saar-Lahn Waterways and Shipping Authority offers the opportunity to visit the Lehmen lock. Visitors can take a look at the lock and the planned construction work for an additional lock chamber. This includes a visit to the control station from which the ship traffic is directed and the lock is operated. As a special feature, it is possible to walk through the tunnel to the hydroelectric power plant on the other side of the Moselle. This allows you to cross the Moselle dry-footed under the water.
