We Rock Queen: Best of Queen - The show goes on!

With WE ROCK QUEEN, an extraordinary concert production has been established, which interprets the music of the British rock legend QUEEN with the highest quality and an infectious joy of playing. Detached from purely visual effects, WE ROCK QUEEN focuses on the authentic rendition of the songs. Musically very close to the original, yet with a distinctly recognizable style of its own.

WE ROCK QUEEN plays the most famous songs of QUEEN in a concert lasting about 2.5 to 3 hours, from a band that has moved and shaped the music world back then as well as today. Freddie Mercury was considered one of the most significant rock singers of his time. With his band QUEEN, he mixed it up in the charts for over 20 years and presented us with a series of unforgettable world hits. With WE ROCK QUEEN, fans of this band can experience the incredibly broad musical spectrum of glam rock, rock, and operatic-sounding pieces live once again.

Here, top-class musicians deliver a very special tribute show at the highest level. With hits like “I Want To Break Free,” “Radio GaGa,” the grand “We Will Rock You,” and “We Are The Champions,” as well as “Bohemian Rhapsody” (in its entirety), the concert becomes a truly special and unforgettable experience even for discerning QUEEN fans.

Band leader and guitarist Frank Rohles was part of the original cast of the QUEEN musical “We Will Rock You” in Cologne. Bassist Erhard Wollmann provides the John Deacon-typical bass sound and forms the rhythmic foundation for the complex QUEEN songs together with drummer Henning Marien. The keyboards are handled by Lothar Boenke, an experienced keyboardist who has been active in many music productions, including various tribute band projects. Frontman and lead voice of WE ROCK QUEEN is Aaron Perry. The sympathetic Englishman has been working as a vocal coach and professional singer in various bands in Germany since 2008. In his musical work, Freddie Mercury has always been a benchmark and role model. With his interpretation, Aaron makes the richness of this legendary voice liveable for the audience.

Frank Rohles was personally selected as a guitarist in the original cast of “We Will Rock You” by Brian May and Roger Taylor!

The musical director of WE ROCK QUEEN is a long-time friend of QUEEN guitarist Brian May and, due to his work as a supervisor and guitarist for the musical “We Will Rock You,” is particularly well-suited to bring the music of QUEEN with all its musical facets to the stage in an expressive tribute show.
