Meeting point for all wine lovers: the wine stand on the Saarburger Ufer! In the pavilion above the boat landing stage, winegrowers from the Saar and Upper Moselle present their wines. The winery changes every month and there is a new range of wines on offer. The open wine tastings with the winegrowers take place once a month from 16:00 - 18:00. Wineries 2024: Easter weekend & April: Winery Forstmeister Geltz Zilliken from Saarburg (VDP). May: SaarWeinGut Peter Burens from Saarburg (SAARKIND). June: Winery Michael & Patrick Philipps from Ayl (SAARKIND). July: Saarweingut Weber Brüder from Wiltingen (SAARKIND). August: Weingut von Othegraven from Kanzem (VDP, owned by TV star Günther Jauch). September: Würtzberg winery from Serrig (SAARKIND, Bernkasteler Ring). October: Dr Wagner from Saarburg (VDP, DEMETER). Opening hours wine stand: Friday: from 15:00 until dark. Saturday, Sunday and public holidays: from 12:00 until dark. Subject to change!
