Wine and folk festival in Konz

The large local history and wine festival around the Konz town hall offers a colourful programme for young and old. On the opening evening, the candidates for the election of the Saar-Obermosel Wine Queen present themselves on the main stage and after the traditional fireworks display with musical accompaniment, the programme continues with live music on the market square. On Saturday evening, further bands provide a musical highlight. The programme on Sunday afternoon is all about families. A selection of rare and particularly beautiful vehicles will drive to the market square in a parade at midday and will be welcomed there by the mayor on behalf of everyone. The reigning Saar-Obermosel wine sovereigns will also be picked up here and driven in open-top vintage cars to the event site in the Möbel Martin car park. On Mondays, the wine stands open in the afternoon. In the evening, the party continues with live music.
