Experience the southern Moselle in an enjoyable and informative way:
Together with the cultural and wine ambassadors Alfred Strupp, Hellen Meijer, and Thomas Fickert, you will explore the idyllic wine landscape, taste the wines where they are created – directly in the vineyard – and learn fascinating things about viticulture, the region, and its history.
Schedule
We start at 11:00 AM at the winery in Palzem with a sparkling wine reception before beginning our approximately 8-kilometer hike.
Our cultural and wine ambassadors will accompany you on an exciting tour through the vineyards, partly along the Moselsteig. The hike leads over paths and meadows to the Wehrer Rosenberg, where a short climb up ladders is rewarded with a breathtaking view of the Moselle landscape.
Along the way, you will taste selected wines directly in the vineyard and enjoy a hearty winegrower’s snack with regional specialties.
For participants who do not wish to drink wine, non-alcoholic alternatives will naturally be available (please inform us when booking).
Around 4:00 PM, the hike concludes again at the winery.
Notes
Please bring sturdy footwear and weather-appropriate clothing – we hike in (almost) any weather!
