On a hike from Schoden to Kanzem, participants gain practical insights into the cellar and vineyard everyday life of the two wineries Weinhof Herrenberg from Schoden and Weingut Johann Peter Mertes from Kanzem.
Two winemakers, Johannes Loch and Peter Mertes, provide exclusive insights into their wine cellars and vineyards along the Saar during a wine hike.
Alongside the presentation of great locations, the everyday work in viticulture is made tangible – from tasting barrel wines to disgorging sparkling wines and pruning, tying, bottle refinement, and labeling.
The program is complemented by regional knowledge, culinary specialties, and Saar wines.
