The Saar on the wrong track - through the Irscher Sonnenberg to gigantic views. Meeting point: 11:15 a.m. Saarburg-Beurig car park/bus stop. Trail length: 6.5 km. Guided hike with Stephanie Motruk incl. wine tasting through the Irscher Sonnenberg to gigantic views. You will hike through the Irscher Sonnenberg up to the plateau to enjoy the gigantic views of world-famous vineyards. There is a rest stop on the mountain to follow the Saar with all its mysteries. On the way back to the Sonnenberg, hikers listen to the vineyard whispers and enjoy the panorama of Saarburg, Beurig and the Kammerforst, where the Romans used to grow wine. Whilst enjoying the impressive views, you can taste the appropriate wines from various winegrowers from the vineyards you are standing in or looking out over. The hike ends at the starting point in Beurig.
