VDP wine tasting with 6 wines in the wine shop of the Peter Lauer winery in Ayl.
In Ayl, we produce Saar wines in the 5th generation.
Riesling is our passion at the Peter Lauer winery. Our winery in Ayl has the best steep slopes along the Saar. In addition to the famous Ayler Kupp, we also manage two other important vineyards in the Moselle region. The Saar "Feilser" directly by the river and the steeply sloping vineyard "Schonfels", a bit further upstream. Recently, we also replanted and revived the long-forgotten location "Lambertskirch", just a stone's throw from Schonfels.
For many years, our white wines have been among the best of the Saar. Since 2013, we have been a member of the VDP – the Association of German Prädikat Wine Estates. Our wines from VDP.GROSSEN LAGEN® in the dry and off-dry flavor categories are particularly special. Additionally, we produce exceptional sparkling wines, some aged on the yeast for up to 30 years.
The VDP wine tasting with 6 wines in the Vinothek of the Peter Lauer winery in Ayl takes place year-round from Monday to Saturday at the full hour between 11:00 AM and 4:00 PM and lasts about one hour.
Tickets can be booked online for 20.00 €/person at the Erlebnis-Shop of the Saar-Obermosel-Touristik at www.saar-obermosel.de/erlebnisse.
