What is the Moselle myth? Mythos Mosel is a parallel vintage tasting from around 120 wineries that takes place in 30 host wineries. They have invited three restaurants from other parts of the Moselle to come to them, so that four wineries (corresponds to approx. 24 wines) can be tasted per station. When does the myth of the Moselle take place? Always on the weekend after Pentecost. Where exactly does the myth of the Moselle take place? There are three sections of the Moselle, approx. 20 km long, which alternate according to schedule: 2. Detzem to Wintrich (2022) 3. Kesten to Zeltingen (2023) 1. Ürzig to Briedel (2024) Who can take part in the Mythos Moselle? Everyone. The tasting is interesting for private wine lovers, journalists and wine retailers. What to expect On Friday evening, Mythos Mosel will be ceremoniously opened in changing locations. Regional and national chefs each cook a course to which all participating winemakers serve their best wines from magnum bottles. On Saturday and Sunday you can taste five to six wines per winery from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the stations. Further tastings, wine parties, winemaker menus and much more are offered around Mythos Mosel. The current program is always on our homepage. What does the entry cost? Trial (VVK): Saturday = 40 €, Sunday = 30 €, 2 days = 55 € This includes access to all wineries, all samples, water and bread, as well as the bus shuttle that connects the wineries with each other. The opening ceremony costs from 150-200 €, depending on the year. (Tickets for the opening ceremony are limited) Where can I get tickets?
