In the summer of 2025, the Pluwig Karl May Friends will present their new adventure surrounding the mysterious rock fortress. A new play that has never been performed on stage before.

In the barren north of Mexico, displaced Mormons from the U.S. state of Utah intend to establish a new state in the early 1860s. The local drought and the associated difficulties make this endeavor challenging. The unscrupulous Mormon Harry Melton and his accomplices are also very devoted to this Mormon state. However, without sufficient capital, the plan seems almost impossible. At the expense of innocent German emigrants, the criminal Melton seeks to gain power and wealth. With false promises of well-paid work, the emigrants are lured to a hacienda where they are to be ruthlessly exploited and enslaved. Old Shatterhand encounters the cunning Mormon in a Mexican village and senses trouble. He pursues him to prevent impending disaster. But the crafty Melton has secured strong support from the Yuma tribe. Will Old Shatterhand and Winnetou manage to save the German settlers and the hacienda? Will they be able to thwart the plans of the Mormon and his dubious accomplice Judith? An exciting battle of life and death is about to unfold.....
