During the pre-Christmas season, Winningen shows its particularly atmospheric side. Between historic half-timbered houses, cozy courtyards, and small stalls, a very special atmosphere arises that invites you to stroll, look around, and enjoy. The scent of Christmas treats fills the air, hand-crafted specialties await at the stands, and everywhere little lights twinkle. Here, the Advent season can be wonderfully enjoyed in a relaxed manner – completely without haste and with plenty of time for the beautiful things. More than 600 strings of lights and numerous grape balls provide the special shine. They festively highlight the historical village backdrop and let Winningen shine in a warm glow of lights.
