Hiking in the Osburger Hochwald is appealing in every season - and there's still plenty going on in winter! Deer, wild boars, foxes, and other animals roam about, leaving their tracks in the snow or on damp paths. In the bare branches of the trees, birds or their nests and nesting holes can be better spotted now than in summer. Mosses and lichens provide small splashes of color upon closer inspection.
The guided circular hike will be approximately 6 km long, it will take place on forest paths and is not suitable for strollers or wheelchairs.
