The former girls' school was built in 1907/1908 according to the plans of the district master builder Vienken by the master mason Matthias Berhard from Lüxem in an elevated position on the western edge of the village.

Vienken used the local materials and forms for the construction of the girls' school in the picturesque manner typical of the time; the half-timbering and the raised base made of quarry stone were used more decoratively than functionally. Today, the local building of the former girls' school is home to the kindergarten and the rehearsal room of the Lüxem music club.
