Old town hall The gothic former town hall from 1548 with its massive stair tower was used as a school for decades.
Notches on the door frames indicate this. An inscription above the tower entrance reads in Moselle Franconian: "Fred in disem Huis, wers nit hält bleibt druis"
(Peace in this house - whoever does not keep it, stays outside!)
