Aussichtspunkt Hitzlay

On the Dream Path Schwalberstieg, you will reach the beautiful small Röder Chapel, which is under monument protection, by the edge of the forest as a midway point. From here, you get your first fantastic views over to the volcanic cones of the Eifel - a wonderful experience in sunshine. Walking across the fields, you quickly reach Hitzlay, the first of two viewpoints with a direct view of the Moselle flowing in the valley. A great view from the Dream Path location over to the heron shooting island and a dam is offered here to the hiker's eye.
