Bärresbornerbach spring

  • Gornhausen

Until a water pipe was build in 1921 the source provided the village with water. In former times the small creek ''Bärresbornerbächlein'' formed the border between Grafschaft Veldenz and Hunolstein.

Gornhausen is a lovely village between the valleys of the Moselle and the heights of the Hunsrück. If you want to recharge your battery properly, then this idyllic village is your holiday destination.
Are you looking for peace and quiet and carefree relaxation? You want to recharge your battery in a wonderful hilly landscape with extensive meadows and forests? Do you like hiking or exploring on foot? Then Gornhausen is the right place for you. Treat yourself to a few days' holiday in a quiet and charming setting. Here you can relax and unwind. We recommend our accommodations, which offer you family hospitality. Of course, our events, which are organised by the local associations, will certainly not leave you bored. All festivals are popular and are also very popular beyond our borders.
Station and stages
