Barrier-free public sanitary facility with changing table for babies
There is a barrier-free public sanitary facility not far from the Porta Nigra. It is located exactly where Porta Nigra Square, Christophstrasse and Rindertanzstrasse meet. The self-cleaning and gender-neutral one-room toilet also has a changing table for babies.
The barrier-free toilet on Porta-Nigra-Platz on the corner of Rindertanzstraße and Christophstraße was newly built in 2023 and complies with the standard for barrier-free construction as well as the current DIN standards. It has a shared (gender-neutral) toilet room with a changing table for babies and small children and meets the needs of people with disabilities and senior citizens.
Use is subject to a charge. For people in possession of a Euro key, use of the facility is still free of charge.
