Winegrowers from the towns of Bruttig-Fankel, Ernst and Valwig launched the “BREVA Wein & Weg” project. It contains the connection between two typical Moselle products: wine and steep slope landscape
The BREVA path leads through one of the best vineyards (Valwiger Herrenberg) on the Moselle. Halfway up the slope you walk past rugged cliffs, vineyards, fauna and flora. The path offers wonderful views of one of the most impressive landscape formations in the Moselle valley. The BREVA wine is a jointly developed premium wine. The Riesling grapes were selected by winemakers according to the highest quality standards. The wine is made in the "dry" flavor and can be bought in the region from winemakers, in restaurants and from your host. With the purchase of a bottle, the consumer supports the project and the cultivated land.
The Breva Wine & Way is accessible all year round, but the trail should only be walked in dry weather. A hike here is not recommended when it is raining or wet.
